T-Shirt Time!

This week was Emily Adams BIRTHDAY!!!
I remember her telling me that she had wanted this saying on a T-shirt. I have the ability to make some pretty legit T-shirts. This project-although it may not be artwork in the traditional sense (what part of art is traditional anyway?)- has actually taken a lot longer than many of my other ones. The initial phase- the design- actually could have been counted for last week... but that might have given it away. So I played it safe and saved it all for this week.

Of course, it didn't occur to me that I hadn't actually taken a picture of the finished product until I wanted to blog about it. Maybe I'll get a picture later... if I remember....
This is a print out of the design on "overhead paper." Remember overheads?? They used them in school....

This is just to prove that it is, in fact, see- through.

This was one attempt to print it out at our home "laser printer." It didn't quite work. The printer ate it. Somehow dad found it and extracted it, but the printer hasn't worked quiet the same since.
I have just skipped about 3/4s of the process, and instead show the result of my "rough draft" for Emily's shirt. There is something about the white that bugs me. It is SUPER thick, and you have to rinse out the screen after every use, or else some parts don't show. I am just now beginning to realize this.

AND... there you go. Work of the week number.... I'll check later, but it is probably like.... 15. Or something. ;)
